Xiaomi is all set to release its latest product Xiaomi Mi7 in the February (most probably) of 2018. The latest addition to the Chinese Smartphone market is expected to raise a storm among gizmophiles on account of its cutting-edge technical features, like 16 MP Dual Cameras, 6 GB RAM, Android Oreo (v.8.0), wireless charging, 3D Facial Recognition and 3350 mAh battery capacity.
If the item can live up to the reputation of its features, it can become a game changer for Xiaomi in the days to come where fierce competition is the standard norm among mobile manufacturers.
The screen size is measured at 6.01 inches (15.49 cms) OLED capacitive touchscreen display, having 18:9 aspect ratio, pixel density 722 ppi and screen resolution 2160 X 3840 pixels. Like its predecessor Mi Mix 2, it will have an edge-to-edge bezel-less display.
The mobile phone will be operated by Android Oreo V.8.0 with a Qualcomm Octa-Core Snapdragon 845 chipset plus Adreno 540 GPU chipset, along with a 6 GB RAM. This allows the device to run multiple programmes simultaneously without a glitch.
The primary internal storage capacity is 128 GB. It is expandable upto a further 128 GB using a microSD card slot present in it- which means unlimited space for your media information, phone numbers, pictures, audio, videos, chats and voice recordings.
16 MP Dual-Colour LED Flash camera with Digital Zoom, Auto Flash, Geo-Tagging, Face Detention, Touch-to-focus, Continuous Shooting and High Dynamic Range (HDR Mode) features. It is capable of video recording 1920 X 1080 @ 30 fps.
The front camera is a 13 MP Single Camera with video recording features 1920 X 1080 @ 30 fps.
It is powered by a non-removable, high capacity, 3350 mAh Li-Po (or 3500mAh) battery that gives a large talktime and high standby period.
The Mi7 supports all 3-network spectrum in India, ranging from 2G to 4G, it is VoLTE enabled and has GPRS/EDGE technology. It has A-GPS feature with Mobile Hotspot and Wi-Fi 802.11(a/ac/b/g/n/n 5 GHz). Bluetooth version is v.4.2. USB Type-C does not support micro-USB.
Enjoy music in MP3, WAV, eAAC+, FLAC format and videos in MP4, DivX, XviD, WMV format via 3.5 mm Audio Jack and speakers.
The mobile was to feature an under-the-display fingerprint scanner but according to the latest buzz, Mi will replace Fingerprint scanner with Facial Recognition feature, similar to iPhone X- an innovative marketing strategy on behalf of Mi. Besides normal conventional features like Accelerometer, Compass, Gyroscope, Light Sensor and Proximity Sensor will be in-built into this device.
Similar to previous Xiaomi models, if you are looking for a handy model with latest features (OS, Camera, Processor & RAM) within a generous budget, the Xiaomi Mi7 may be just the thing for you.
